Delivery of organic mangoes to train passengers

 

 

Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a subsidiary of the Indian Railways, has implemented this new offer. By partnering with Trapigo, a start-up specializing in delivery services and a supplier (Shree Mahalakshmi Swayam Sahayata Bachat Ghat) for mangoes.

 

 

 

Travelers can order on the IRCTC website or on the dedicated "Food-on-track" app. The fruits offered are only local and seasonal; the offer also includes hot dishes from various partner restaurants.

 

 

 

The service is available in Nagpur and will be extended to other cities in the North Central region, such as New Delhi, Itarsi, Jhansi, Bhopal, etc.
