Fire at Fontestad Museros caused a spectacular column of smoke visible from 50 kilometers around.
A column of smoke is visible from 50 kilometers of the fire as it destroyed the 45,000 m2 site ofy Fontestad Museros (Valencia). The fire started around 11:45 near the place for storing pallets and cardboard, and spread rapidly. The roof collapsed making it more difficult for firefighters and the fight against
the fire lasted all night.
The 250 employees working on site were evacuated, with few people were suffering from the fumes. The origin of the fire could be electrical, but experts from the Guardia Civil have not yet started their investigations.
