Dramatic increase in exports of bananas and pineapples from the Philippines to the United Arab, which represents in one single quarter the same figures as the 2004-2010 period.

Thus, the increase in exports from the Philippines to the United Arab Emirates has been staggering. For the first quarter, the Philippines exported U.S. $ 170 million banana and pineapple.
In recent years, value of the Philippines exports has more than doubled. The two countries should strengthen exchanges in particular in agricultural products. For the Philippines, this will result in expansion of bananas and pineapples crops and production of organic fruit and vegetables.
