Iraq has again become in recent years a destination for exports of Turkish products, fruits and vegetables in particular.

The statistics released by the Union of Exporters Mediterranean show a significant drop in vegetable exports in October ( -79 % in quantity and 75 % in value) and those of fruits (-80 % and -79 %). However Iraq remains the second largest importing country after Russia.

Note that Iraq has increased its import of tangerines ( +151 % in quantity and 113 value), while it decreased very significantly its other citrus imports.
