Great results for ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2016

Very good results for the ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2016 which happened in Hong Kong from september 7 to 9, 2016.

According to organizers figures, attendance was up to +22% in comparison with the last edition. The show attracted 11.000 professionnals coming from 74 different countries. As exhibitor with Fructidor team, I could see a very good attendance with many Chinese and Indian professionnals.

Concerning exhibitors, organisers announce 665 exhibitors, + 18% in comparison with past year, coming from 37 different countries. There were over 100 exhibitors more than past year ! This is probably the show with bigger increase with Fruit Attraction (Spain) to be held in october 2016.

Biggest delegations were Turkiye, Egypt and Italy.

These great results show that Asia Fruit Logistica as the main event for Asian markets. Incredible markets with great development.

China has increased its imports by +25% / year in the last 4 years. This is a stable trend explained by a growing middle-calss and the fear to consume chinese fruit because of pollution.
