The event seeks to boost technical exchange, improve competitiveness, and advance sustainable practices in the regional Hass avocado industry.
Lima will host the seventh edition of the Latin American Avocado Congress from 17 to 19 November at the ESAN Convention & Sport Center. The event, organized by ProHass (Peru’s Hass Avocado Producers and Exporters Association), is the region’s main technical and scientific meeting focused on Hass avocado cultivation and export.
The congress will gather specialists from Peru, Chile, Mexico, Guatemala and other producing countries to discuss current challenges and innovations in the sector. Key presentations will address sanitary and phytosanitary regulations in global trade, production challenges in Latin America, agronomic strategies to manage UV stress and the use of biostimulants, as well as sustainability initiatives led by ProHass.
The event aims to support knowledge exchange, strengthen regional competitiveness, and promote sustainable development across the Hass avocado supply chain in Latin America.
