Pepper export to USA banned

Since the half of last week from the Netherlands for undetermined time no pepper can be delivered to the USA.

 

 

Phytosanitary Control Service of the USA (PPQ) informed that in Netherlands’ transports of Habanero-Chilean were found exemples of “False Codling Moth” (FCM) which is subject to USA quarantine rules.

 

 

Due to this fact, PPQ introduced ban for import of Netherlands pepper to the USA.
