Peru’s pomegranate exports up 39% in 2025

The 2025 campaign reflects supply growth and stable international demand for Peruvian fresh pomegranates.
Peru exported 116.7 million USD FOB of fresh pomegranates in 2025, marking a 39% increase compared with 84.2 million USD in 2024, according to Agrodata.
Total exports reached 41.8 million kilos, up 39% year-on-year from 30.1 million kilos the previous season.
Prices showed limited movement overall. The 2025 average stood at US$2.79/kg, practically unchanged from US$2.80/kg in 2024.
Market distribution remained heavily Europe-focused. The Netherlands dominated with US$58.5 million, accounting for 50% of total export value. The United States ranked second at US$22.0 million (19%), followed by the United Kingdom with US$9.0 million (8%) and Russia at US$7.4 million (6%). Canada held a 5% share, while smaller volumes moved to the UAE, Brazil, Iraq, Spain and Saudi Arabia.
