Macfrut 2022: The world's avocado experts will be at the Tropical Fruit Congress

Tropical Fruit Congress, the only European conference dedicated to tropical fruits, will be held on Friday May 6, 2022 at the Rimini Expo Center as part of the Macfrut fair. This year's edition is dedicated to the lawyer.

 

A panel of international speakers will shed interesting light on everything related to the avocado: market, consumption, commercial trends, technologies and marketing strategies.

 

With regard to Italy, Daria Lodi, from the Statistics and Market Observatory department of CSO Italy, will draw up a complete picture of the consumption of exotic fruits, and in particular avocados; Andrea Passanisi, founder of Sicilia Avocado, a very dynamic company and 1st avocado producer in Italy; Mattia Menni, Marketing Director of Spreafico Francesco & F.lli, a company that created the èSquisita brand for the marketing of exotic fruits.

 

Experts from the main production and consumption areas around the world will speak. In particular, Jorge Enrique Restrepo, Executive Director of Corpohass, the Colombian Corporation of Producers and Exporters of Hass Avocados, who will detail production, exports, new markets and present sustainability initiatives and communication and marketing activities. Other scheduled speakers: Therese Bruwer, from Westfalia Fruit International's research team, based in South Africa, and Benjamin Mutuku Tito, Director of Horticultural Crops Authority of Kenya.

 

 

The Tropical Fruit Congress will include not only a congress but also technical workshops and a thematic exhibition area.
