Lettuce gains in value in Polish market

Lettuce appeared to be this year very expensive. In the period of time March-May, the average price in purchase was at the level of 0,40EUR per piece. It is 25% more expensive than a year ago.
In wholesale markets the situation looks the same.
This week horticulture cooperatives paid 0,13EUR per piece and this is more expensive than in 2006.
