Pomegranates' price in free fall

While last year the price charged by the orchard producers had increased to 2 Turkish lire (1 euro = 3 Turkish lira), prices dive and were practically divided by three.

One of the varieties released by the Ministry of Agriculture, variety Keben, produced in one of the main production areas are located in Silifke, in south-eastern Turkey and producers, not finding exporters, are being sold on the local market.
