Dole has made acquisitions in Chile

 

 

The property TucFrut consists of 5 farms spread over more than 1000 hectares and currently produce apples, blueberries and kiwi on more than 660 hectares. These TucFrut farms strengthen the DOLE product portfolio with kiwis and different varieties of apples. The acquisition will also provide DOLE with its first own production of Chilean blueberries.

 

 

 

This also provides DOLE arable land yet to be developed for production. DOLE had already acquired three other farms (over 600 hectares) of grapes. These farms will be able to provide a wide range of grape varieties.
