Beginning of Galicia kiwifruit campaign

The Spanish kiwifruit campaign will start at the beginning of November. Indeed, kiwifruit are being grown since more than 30 years in Galicia - Spain and crops usually amount to 3/4 million kilos. This growing requires a lot of water and moderate temperatures. Growing areas are mainly based in Pontevedra and Coruña. Produce is aimed at supermarkets on the domestic market.
