Ukraine increases stone fruits import

According to the recent data, Ukraine managed to increase volumes of stone fruits import by 30% in August comparing to the previous period numbers. Official figures prove that amount of fruits imported to Ukrainian market within last month comprised 15 000 tons. Total number of stone fruits imported during June –August period to Ukraine goes up to 50 000 tons. The main countries-suppliers of stone fruits to domestic market of Ukraine are EU countries (90%).
