New memberships (China, Ukraine) highlight and strengthen the global reach of WAPA.
WAPA (World Apple and Pear Association) is strengthening its global role in the apple and pear sector with the accession of two new members, China and Ukraine.
These new members, China (China Chamber of Commerce of Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal) and Ukrsadprom Association, took part in the Annual General Meeting held at the recent Fruit Logistica in Berlin .
The meeting also saw the election of Mr. Todd Fryhover (Washington Apple Commission) as President and Mr. Nicholas Dicey (South African Apple and Pear Association) as Vice President of WAPA.
WAPA was founded in 2001 and includes the following countries and regions: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Scandinavia, Slovenia, South, United Kingdom, United States.
