Egypt, Sahara Agricultural fair in Cairo

 Until tomorrow products for agricultural production (machinery, fertilizers, irrigation systems and agricultural pumps) will be the focus of Egyptian and international farmers and businessmen gathered in Cairo.
The agricultural sector in Egypt plays a leading role in the economics of the Country: it contributes with 16% to the GDP and employs 30% of the workforce.
Italy is the most important client of Egypt in the fruit and vegetable sector; in 2007 it imported products for some 80 million euro, even if a part of the imported production have as a final destination other north European Countries.
