Supply of grapefruit mostly relied on Mexican fruits
Demand has remained relatively slow. However, volumes have been moderate, despite the very first but extremely limited arrivals from the Northern Hemisphere (Israel).
Thus, supply has mostly relied on Mexican fruits, for which deliveries have been at a level below last year (average deliveries from Michoacán but lower ones from Yucatan).
Hence, prices have remained very firm for this origin and also for the last fresh SAR's deliveries.
However, other origins are still having trouble breaking into the market (Honduran and Cuban fruits since last week).
