The strawberries are of good quality but have a delay of 2 to 3 weeks compared to the previous season.
Strawberry crops in the Huelva region are late as low temperatures in December delayed the harvest.
The season started with just a few plots. This year, the bulk of the harvest will be significantly delayed compared to the previous season -
about 2 to 3 weeks so as to reach a more intense production.
The quality of the plant and fruit growth is optimal with 98% seen as "premium" by farmers. Forecasts for the year are extremely positive.
