Autumn harvests are abundant and will enable the country to meet its domestic demand.
Autumn harvests are plentiful and the Ministry of Agriculture has announced that the country can now meet domestic demand for potatoes.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Mongolia can meet domestic demand for wheat and potatoes. The country harvested 409,600 tons of wheat (+172,600 tons compared to last year) and 160,900 tons of potatoes (+44,500 tons).
The other crops are equally satisfactory with 93,600 tons of vegetables (+14,500 tons) and 19,300 tons of oilseeds (+7,200 tons).
