The situation with oranges improved in respect of prices as well as the demand increased but not significantly. Prices for the only left Moroccan produce in week 21 were in range – 1,19 – 1,22 US$/kg.
The market is getting full by means of increased arrivals. Though the quality of Argentine lemons is good but the demand was obviously more slow than arrivals. As a result some stocks were accumulated and prices made another step down – 2,00 – 2,35 US$/kg.
The first South African mandarins were tasty but still not strong enough for large distances. Argentine fruit left on last week’s level – 1,80 US$/kg whereas South African went up to 1,91 US$/kg.
