The Green Morocco Plan shows the way

The excellent results of Moroccan agriculture are put to the credit of the Plan Maroc Vert , the ministry of Agricultre.

It involved about 500,000 producers so far. The Green Morocco Plan ( PMV) fully meets expectations seven years after its introduction. Moroccan agriculture grew by 7.6% per year ( 2008-2014 ) and exports increased by 34% over the same period .

The country has managed to achieve the original purpose of PMV position Morocco the 3rd largest exporter of agricultural products in the Middle East, North Africa ( MENA) and the 4th largest in Africa. Now the second phase is planned to focus on the transformation sector .
