Infrastructures expansion at ANECOOP POLSKA
The Polish subsidiary of GRUPO ANECOOP has just inaugurated its new facilities in Jasin. The distribution platform, located near the city of Poznan, sells fruits, vegetables and Spanish wine throughout Poland, with an annual sales volume of more than 40,000 tonnes. ANECOOP POLSKA has expanded its 2,400 square meter installations.
This expansion of capacity has involved an investment of more than €1 million, and reflects the remarkable increase in activity achieved by the structure that meets the growing demand for Spanish products (citrus, fruit, vegetables). The ANECOOP POLSKA site now covers 32,000 m2, including 2 air-conditioned units of 2,400 m2 (the first was opened in 2004), 800 m2 of offices and 900 m2 of cold rooms.
During the 2016-17 season, ANECOOP POLSKA increased its turnover by 10% compared to the previous season, after having recorded + 6% over 2015-16. According to ANECOOP President Alejandro Monzón, "Poland is a growing market, with a population of 40 million and a high potential, and thanks to this new structure we have an even greater capacity for service. to our cooperatives and partner companies as well as to our customers ".
