Moldova: potato harvesting completed

Potato harvesting completed in the Republic, gross crop totaled 145.000 tonnes, up 15.000 tonnes compared to the planned volume, reported representatives of the Ministry of agriculture and food to “News-Moldova”.

 

The highest possible yield throughout the Republic totaled 4.5-6 c/ha. However, no less than 300.000 tonnes of potatoes need to be harvested to provide population with potatoes.
