USApple, the non-profit association of US apple professionals, has appointed a new president to head its board and has a new logo.
The Board of Directors appointed Jeff Colombini, California producer and owner of Lodi Farming, Inc., as new president for the 2019-2020 period, a company that grows 1,800 acres of apples, cherries, olives and nuts in the United States. San Joaquin Valley.
Jeff Colombini has been active in the apple industry for years. He was previously Vice Chairman of the USApple Board. In addition to the presidency at USApple, he is president of the California Apple Commission and former president of the California Cherry Advisory Board and the Olive Oil Commission of California. He is currently secretary of the Olive Oil Commission.
He succeeds Kaari Stannard, President of 2018-2019, owner of New York Apple Sales, Inc. in Glenmont, NY.
The Association unveiled a new logo, sober and minimalist design. A new website is being prepared and will be unveiled in the coming months.
