The trend continues for exports of Fruits & Vegetables

 Month after month, Spanish exports of F & V recorded a downward trend observed since June.

FEPEX ad for November 2014 a score of -2 % in volume and 3% in value compared to November 2013. Spanish exports achieved a turnover of EUR 996.7 million to about 12 million tonnes.

The drop in exports in November is due because of fruits which fell -9.5 % in volume and 9% in value, including persimmon and citrus. Vegetable exports grew 9.6% in volume and + 7 % in value. Upward curve for cucumber (+ 9%) , lettuce (+ 8%) peppers (+ 1%) and falls for tomato whose exports were down 13%
