Very good year for exports of red fruits

Spanish exports of red fruits registered a huge growth rate.

According to data from the Ministry of the Economy, red fruit exports totaled 1.019 million euros in 2015. A 22% increase compared to the previous year. This growth rate is 2 times higher than the average growth of the fresh fruit sector , which increased by 11.4 %.

The Huelva region is the Spanish province that produced the highest volume of red fruits ( strawberries , raspberries, blueberries and blackberries) .
