Harvest of Citrus in Sao Paulo State

Orange offer and volume in Sao Paulo market is rather scarce, with only few precocious varieties collected in half period of harvest. Farmers expect in the end of April bigger quantities of varieties ready to harvest especially when temperatures become more favourable in the night and the sun will speed up the coloring of fruits. In the middle of last week a variety Hamlin was sold in the domestic market at 4,36 eur for 40,8kg wooden case, 4% above the medium price of the previous week.
