The Oscar Macfrut rewards innovation in products and processes

The Macfrut trade show aims to give a strong impetus to innovation and encourage this process further in the sector.

The aim of the "Oscar" award in Macfrut is to give more visibility to products and technologies with a high degree of innovation.

Companies can compete in four categories:
  - Machinery and Technology,
  - Packaging
  - Grains and seeds, fruits and vegetables,
  - Logistics and services.

The winner in each category will be chosen by a panel of experts, while a ‘general prize’ will be awarded on the basis of preferences expressed by visitors and exhibitors at Macfrut 2011.
