Imagine 84 Les Jardins de la Méditerrannée a new Association in Avignon

The Association aims to enhance Fruit and Vegetables access to families in need attending Food Distribution Centres.

 

A packaging workshop was created in Avignon, they collect fruit and vegetables thrown away every day by local growers, shippers, wholesalers (around 150 tons). 

These are usually downgraded products, they are  selected and packed there. These products are edible and preserved all nutritional qualities. 

 

An integration worshop was also created: its objective is to rehabilitate people offering them a professional training.
