Poland increases apples export to Ukraine

According to the latest data, Poland has managed to increase apples export volumes by 6 times in 2014-2015 season. Based on the official statistic data, Polish fruits producers have delivered approximately 30 000 tons of apples to Ukraine during July 2014 – March 2015 period. It stands to mention that less than 4 000 tons of apples were imported to Ukrainian local market from Poland within the same period last season. Poland keeps maintaining leading positions (80% share) among countries suppliers of apples to Ukraine. At the current moment apples prices comprise 0,46 – 0,50 EUROkg.
