Peruvian pitahaya shipments on the rise

In January 2025, Peruvian pitahaya exports reached a volume of 102,000 tons, valued at $236,000, according to a Latin media.

These figures represent a significant increase over the same month last year, with increases of 314% in volume and 264% in value.

The average price of pitahaya was $2.32 per kilogram.

The main destination was Spain, which bought 83 tons, followed by France, the Netherlands and Germany, with smaller amounts.
