Great success for Egyptian agriculture during FRUIT LOGISTICA 2016

Country partner of the exhibition, Egypt broke its attendance record with more than 90 companies present . These companies were united under the banner of the Egyptian Council of export of agricultural products over a wide area ( 1700 m2) that has not gone unnoticed.

These companies have completed over 700 business meetings that will allow the country to increase its exports beyond its traditional partners.

Egypt has vast tracts of new land that are ideal for growing high-quality products. The country is the largest exporter of oranges in the world , the second largest producer of artichokes , the 5th producer of tomatoes and 6th producer of strawberries. The country also exports pomegranates, dates, herbs and spices.
