Carrefour has withdrawn from Greece and sold its shares to its local partner Marinopoulos, which becomes the exclusive franchisee of Carrefour.
Carrefour is selling its activities to local partner Marinopoulos.
The Carrefour Group sold its stake in the joint venture to Marinopoulos and it is now the exclusive franchisee of Carrefour in Greece, Cyprus

Carrefour has been in Greece since the early 1990s and the country accounts for 2.7% of its sales.
