Record exports in 2000/2001

Chilean fruit exports in 2000/2001 have reached a new record. Indeed, they have increased by 15% in volume, that is to say 1,6 million tons of fruit. This rise, the most important one in the history of the fruit industry, concerns all markets abroad, but in particular Europe. Europe indeed is Chile's second customer market and recorded this season a 21,4% rise.
