The company Bonduelle celebrated the 50th anniversary of its first plant in Estrées-Mons (80). Started in 1926, the activity of canning of vegetables passed to the industrial stage in August 1963 with the opening of Estrées-Mons factory. The plant constantly developed and added the activity of frozen vegetables in 1968, then in the late 90s, the business of fresh vegetables (bagged salads and delicatessen salads). Today, the plant employs 800 people, packages 36 different vegetables, produces 130,000 tons of canned vegetables and 90,000 tons of frozen per year.
Bonduelle is now the No. 1 worldwide for canned vegetables and frozen vegetables. The company operates in 18 countries and has 50 production sites, the brand is represented in 80 countries.
