Higher prices for peaches in Italy are expected

Availability of peaches from Italy is very limited. Many Southern production areas have already finished their harvest and the surface destined to grow the peach trees in the north of the country diminish every year.
The offer of fresh peaches is concentrated mainly in Romagna and Piemont. In last two weeks, in Verona region there was local hail and rainfall so the situation wasn't so good as in the end of June. The price of peaches will rise also due to smaller production of peaches in Spain.
