Anfas Freshantalya 2008 exhibition “Fruit, Vegetables, Logistics and Technologies Fair” was held March 27-29 at the Antalya Expo Center (Antalya, Turkey).
Many foreign companies attended the fair, along with Turkish fruit and vegetables exporters associations, the Agricultural Directorate of Province Antalya, the Antalya Trade and Industry Chamber, the Commercial Exchange of Antalya Province, the Agricultural Engineers Chamber of Antalya, the Agriculture Chamber of Antalya, producers associations, the Fruit and Vegetable Trade Commissioners Federation, the Market Hall Directorate of Antalya, and the Shielded Vegetable Producers Association of Center District of Antalya City.
The event gathered 129 exporting companies coming from France, The Netherland, Israel, Italy, Egypt and Spain. They were represented on 106 stands, distributed on 9000 m².
Anfas Freshantalya 2008 exhibition attracted a total of 5850 visitors from various countries: Germany, Israel, Austria, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, England, Bulgaria, Kuwait, Kirghizistan, Italy, France, Romania, Egypt, Sudan, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Sri Lanka, and Slovenia.
Fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, dried fruit and vegetable, hard shelled fruit, herbal plants and spices, seeds, logistic services and equipments, processing technologies, stocking technologies, packing materials and technologies, and laboratory equipment were among the products exhibited in the fair. Services, such as training, custom, consulting or certification bodies were also presented.
The event aimed at favouring business contacts between visitors and exhibitors and therefore led participating companies to establish trade connections, for instance with Egypt, Netherlands, Hungary, Russia, the Czech Republic, for agricultural chemicals, or with Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan for citrus fruits, apple, cherry, tomato and machinery.
The next edition of Freshantalya will take place March 26-29, 2009.
