Georgia and Russia reached agreement on fruits vegetables supply
According to the latest news, for the first time since 2006 – the year of implementation of embargo for fruits delivered from Georgia, Russian Government allowed berries, fruits and vegetables import from this country. All the deliveries are bound to have required phitosanitary documentation. List of products allowed to be delivered to Russia from Georgia includes tomatoes, cucumbers, new potatoes, cabbage, cherries, apricots, peaches, Sharon fruit, kiwi. According to the mutual agreement both sides are obliged to control products quality before after delivery.
