APEX and IBRAF lead a large delegation of Brazilian companies in Fruit Attraction 2012.

Brazilean Fruit, initiated by IBRAF and APEX encourages Brazilian companies to participate in major international events such as Fruit Attraction 2012 in Madrid.

The Brazilian Institute of fruits (IBRAF) and the Brazilian Agency for Export Promotion (APEX) has established Brazilean Fruit. To promote and publicise abroad the quality and variety of Brazilian fruits (30 kinds of fresh fruit and many processed items).

Among Brazilian companies that will be present at Fruit Attraction 2012: Abanorte, Gibran, Itacitrus Agroindustrial, Rio Doce and Exportaminas. These companies offer a variety of products such as bananas, mangoes, lemons, mandarins, avocados, guavas and figs.

Brazil is the third largest producer of fruits in the world with 42 million tons, 28% of the production is destined for export markets.
