Saveol - turnover reaches EUR 120 million in 2003

Cooperative group Saveol, which is based in the north of France posted sales of EUR 120 million in 2003. The group, which has 150 producers, is responsible for 70,000 of the 550,000 tonnes of tomatoes grown in France each year. Saveol tomatoes are grown in 235 hectares of greenhouses without the use of chemical pesticides.
