Total Produce / Dole: the European decision postponed to end of July

 

The Irish company Total Produce has announced its desire to acquire 45% of the American company Dole, one of the world's leading producers of bananas and pineapples. This operation must be approved by regulatory agencies on both sides of the Atlantic. Expected initially for July 16, the agreement of the European Commission is postponed until July 30.

 

 

 

This operation will give birth to a cumulative turnover structure of approximately 8 billion euros.
