Campaign for Edenia pears

In a major campaign to promote Edenia pears, AOP Lleida is playing on images of paradise with Adam and Eve with a pear, instead of an apple.
This is the second year of promotion for Edenia pears, branded by 10 producing companies. Edenia pears are quality certified AOP from Lleida, characterized by a sweet taste and uncompromising quality control.
The harvest of the Limonera variety has taken place and in the next few days Blanquilla and Conference will start. Companies producing Edenia have the potential of 26 to 30 million kilos of production.
The paradox of the Spanish market is that one pear in two consumed in Spain comes from Belgium, which along with the Netherlands now has 50% of the market.
