Carrefour sales down in France

Carrefour's home market continues to slow down the group's sales growth. In the first quarter, French sales were down 1.1 percent, while Europe posted a 7.8 percent increase. French hypermarket sales were down by 3.7 percent, which the company attributes to its low pricing policy.
