Prices of agricultural products in decrease

After a large surge and the state intervention to curb this inflation, prices of agricultural products are falling.
 

Price of radish decreased of 32%, 28.6% for Chinese cabbage; lettuce, cucumbers, celery and eggplant have all decreased over 20%.

Prices collected in 36 cities in China show a significant decrease in prices of fruit and vegetables. In some cities, including Shenyang, Shenzhen and Ningbo, the prices were all down more than 20%.

Moreover, the decline is even more spectacular in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province where prices have declined 35.8% and in Xiamen, Fujian province where decline is 31.9%.

Food prices account for about one third on the index of consumer prices in China (CPI), the main gauge of inflation.
