Export revenues rose by 10%

EHDA (Ethiopian Horticulture Development Agency) announced an increase in revenues from exports.
The exports generated USD 275.45 million in the last fiscal year and was +10.7% compared to the previous. The majority of revenue comes from cut flowers (USD 225 million), the rest from Fruits & Vegetables (USD 50 million).
Fruits & Vegetables exported reached a volume of 166,000 tonnes. Europe is the No. 1 destination with a share of 80% of exports. Far behind, North America, Middle East and Far East and some African countries.
