Sunsweet investment in Chile

Dried fruit and fruit juice marketer Sunsweet Growers is constructing a fruit drying facility in Chile. The company is sourcing fruit from Chile in order to reduce the risks of sourcing solely from California, following poor crops in 2004 and 2005. The company said that it is building its own facility so that it can have more control on fruit quality.
