The latest news about Macfrut 2026
A bigger, more international, more innovative trade fair was announced by Macfrut organizers during a news conference in Sicily.
This is what the 43rd edition of Macfrut, the international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable supply chain, has in store for visitors. The first major piece of news is that the trade fair, unique in its format, is scheduled to take place next April, from Tuesday 21 to Thursday 23, once again at the Rimini Expo Centre. In addition, the exhibition area will be expanded to include two additional halls and a new layout with the exhibition part divided into three main areas: Pre-Harvest, Post-Harvest and Healthy Food Area. The key products will be Avocados and Mangoes, with an international focus on the Caribbean, Sicily as the Partner Region, and many other novelties.
Business, networking and knowledge
The main purpose of the trade fair is to promote the supply chain, which it achieves by leveraging its three core strengths. These are Macfrut business priorities: fostering new business connections with customers and suppliers from around the world; Networking with the support of an exclusive B2B service for scheduling meetings with international buyers and other exhibitors via a dedicated platform; and Knowledge with a series of in-depth sessions and themed areas organised by leading international experts, making Macfrut a unique event for gaining insight into the future of the sector.
