Warning : tricks!
Italy
Tuesday 01 April 2008
We’ve been informed by the respectable company IN.T.E.R. Frutta located in Lecce, Italy that bad meaning people used their headed paper with the intention of purchasing goods and never pay after delivery.
How it happens? When receiving such an offer, people contact their insurance policy which confirms that the company is solvent and gives their agreement. So, you ship the goods (more often to a wholesale market), you send the invoice to the company IN.T.E.R. Frutta. Obviously, the company contests the invoice, they never received the goods..., the insurance doesn’t reimburse you, the client was solvent!
We would like to remind you that first of all, you have to verify the phone and fax numbers mentioned on the headed paper. You can check this info on the Fructidor.com sourcing guides or on line www.fructidor.com. If the phone number is a mobile one, be sure it’s a trick!
Feel free to get in touch with our representatives in the field, to get further information.
