Wal-Mart launches an expansion strategy

Wal-Mart, the US number one in distribution, has announced it is to launch an expansion strategy on domestic and international markets. More than fifty discount stores and 180 to 185 supercentres should open in the USA alone. This plan, which will start from February 2002, is planning the opening of 120 to 130 units in the world.
