UGPBAN offers a new product: 'Child' banana

The diversification of the offer is an important vector to enhance the value of the product, and after the 'Equitable' (fair trade) banana  launched last year, UGPBAN (Union of Groupings of Banana Producers of Guadeloupe and Martinique) launches 'Child' banana.

 

 

 

Presented at the recent Salon de l'Agriculture (Paris), 'Child' bananas are in a bouquet of 3-4-5 or 6 fruits. Of a smaller size, these bananas are surrounded by a tricolor ribbon with Mickey. This well-known character, being transgenerational, can arouse the interest of children aged 3-10, the preferred target, as well as other older people in a family.

 

 

 

Banana 'Child' will be available on the stalls in a few weeks, in April-May.
